Find the marks they're losing. Then win them back.
One-to-one, exam-focused maths tutoring. Every lesson starts from the topics your child is actually dropping marks on.
We're two Year 13 maths students at Sydenham & Forest Hill Sixth Form. Lessons start from your child's own marked work: we find where the marks went and fix those topics with real exam questions.
In person, lessons are at your kitchen table with a parent at home. Online works too. We only ever message parents, and you get a short note after each lesson.
David A. and Sebastian M.
How lessons work
Diagnose
The first lesson starts from their latest marked test, or a short set of exam questions on what they've been taught, to find exactly where the marks go.
Target
Each lesson fixes one or two weak topics, with exam questions on each.
Practise
Exam-style homework between lessons, checked at the start of the next one.
Report
A short note to parents after every lesson: what was covered and what's next.
Free: the GCSE maths topic checklist, every topic for AQA and Edexcel, to rate red, amber or green.
KS3 (Years 7-9): the same loop, aimed at the number, algebra and geometry that GCSE builds on, so the gaps are closed before Year 10.
